Action Against Poverty (AAP) is a grassroots, community-centered Ethiopian NGO established in September 2024, to combat the structural and multidimensional causes of poverty. Headquartered in Holeta, Ethiopia; AAP operates across vulnerable rural, urban and peri-urban communities with a mission to empower families, strengthen livelihoods, and build resilient societies.
AAP works through holistic development approaches that integrate food security, livelihood diversification, education support, health awareness, climate adaptation and community mobilization. Through participatory planning and inclusive development methods, AAP ensures that the most marginalized—women, youth, smallholder farmers, persons with disabilities—are at the center of development solutions.
